The Saturday afternoon soiree was curated at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum. The French Quarter venue’s 19th century tropical courtyard provided a lovely backdrop for the opulent celebration, surrounded by the decadence and romance of New Orleans. A three-foot custom revolving, alligator-shaped, mirrored disco ball designed by Jamie Bird of Midnight Zone Mirror Ball was featured in the tropical courtyard. Original paintings by Mary Ball and other local artists from the couple’s private collection were hung in the chic al fresco gallery. DJ Yung and a three-piece brass band provided sound design and music for the cocktail hour and dance. The bride wore ostrich. Trimmed in a plume of bouncing feathers, the luscious Italian white one shoulder satin gown was designed by Taller Marmo. She carried a green leather purse by Bene adorned with a golden crown-wearing alligator. Blue Manolo Blahnik stilettos completed the first look before the bride changed into sparkling sequin sneakers.
