This facet of the job is what truly sets Scrivner apart. Where many artists would prefer to be sequestered in an art studio away from the public eye, Scrivner thrives on social interaction. Meeting new people, being in the center of all the hustle and bustle while doing something she loves is the perfect setup for her. “I have a full-time job doing something that I could have never imagined for myself. It is such a God thing,” she says, and her gratitude shines through as she describes some of the weddings she has painted over the last several years. Scrivner began her career painting local weddings, but as her popularity grew, she found herself far outside her hometown of Columbus. In fact, over Thanksgiving she traveled all the way to Ireland to paint a wedding, which was an unforgettable experience. Scrivner boasts a full calendar of happy customers all over the world.
